Prado electric windows

Can the electric windows be made to operate with out the Key turned on ? If yes then how did you do this.
I looked at this a while ago, from memory if you look at the connector that goes into the drivers door switch panel there is a permanent 12V for the door lock button and a 12V accessory feed for the windows. If you trace the accessory feed you should be able to cut and splice into a different feed behind the drivers right foot kick panel to give you 12V permanent. I don't think the door lock had a high enough fuse.
It was a few years ago when I was thinking of doing this though... so check everything
