if its a 130, open the tail gate remove the cover unscrew the metal cover as well. remove the plug from the motor in the tail gate. with a spare battery, clips and a couple wires plug into the motor from memory there are three wires find out what two wires on motor makes it go up. then put it up till the two wholes that are about half way down the door line up with the two bolts that hold the window to the window once removed it should come out same in reverse to put new one on. sounds hori but it works lol

Thanks Willy. Do I remove the motor and window while still joined to each other? Interior cover is off, plastic (dust?) wrap is off. No metal cover.. As far as I can see, there are no bolts holding window to the slide. There are two nickel? plated slides with rubber inserts that the bottom edge of the window is squeezed into. All I'm thinking is to pull out the window from slide? but don't want to smash it? Help please

remove that plastic, if you look below the slide you can see two bolted that hold that bracket to the scissors move the window up and down and you will see that there are two holes in the frame of the gate, that line up with those two bolts they are about 25 mm you will have to use a socket set to undo them. the metal bracket and the window will come off as one, and the motor will stay in place

Na, no good mate. I can't see the "holes" but think I'm meant to separate the slide portion with the arms? I'm going to ask a wrecker on Monday coz I'm missing something. Thanks for the replies though!

you have to put the tail gate down , strip and open covers.
disable the sensors on both sides of the tail gate .
wind the rear window out with tail gate down
unbolt winder motor for access
unbolt rails from window winder mechanism
pull rubber seals on the top of the tail gate
remove window though top.

the window slides in my truck were glued to the rials and could not be removed easily
