Heading to Maratoto on Friday 7th Jan. Going as far as the river and maybe short bush walk into the old kauri dam ( if i can find it) any one keen to come along? Need to pay track donation of $10.

well track conditions same as thomo at the monent, year back safe driving,the top layer has been washed off , rocky bumpy, till near ABC that has had the rock ledge removed, its flat wet clay also a clay ramp up abc farther up is a new wet rutted rock climb . i was on warn k71s ,wet rutted down to near the boiler which we were show, twice in there, found the 3rd time

a new flat area has been made near the riverside inn for camping

we tried going up the track a bit more but to much for my tyres
