I went back to the farm i left my truck at, to "jury rig" it, so it could make it home under it's own steam. I pressed the foward UJ apart to get the yoke off to block the shaft hole up to keep all the oil in the gearbox. But how do I keep it retained while still letting it spin :?:
This 1 is worthy of the "bush repair" thread but i wasn't in the bush
Within 2 minutes it was done :D

Drove it home (about 25-30k's) Worked mint :P 8) :D
Thank god the nissan is a real 4wd and has no center diff :!:
Drove at normal highway speed, with only front wheel drive.
Reminded me of a landcrab that i learned to drive when i was 12 over 25 years ago
Now to start a thread to search for a replacement drive shaft

Now you can keep that yolk and bolt in your toolbox for next time

I remember taking my lux for a spin with no rear shaft once. It was an interesting drive with a lockright in the front :?
