People trying to steal hilux's in palmy

Just put the word out that someone is trying to steal hilux surf truck's. Someone tryed to take mine last night they got in and pulled apart the dash but then locked the stearing so could not go anywhere. The smashed the side window to get in

The funny part was that it had a trailor load with a load for the tip ready to go on the back of the truck

but seriously, this sucks, it was up his drive and well secured so evryone local make sure all your 4x4s are well protected when parked up at night..... another car behind them, or in a back lawn or similar. wasnt that long ago that Haynzys Lux was flogged either

someone had a go at the door tumbler in mine a few weeks ago , jokes on them though the rod isnt connected to the lock mech

The window was under insurance and able to fix the rest my self, have to have a look at the stearing as the wheel sits a bt funny now, have done things to hopefully stop them next time. Our next door hear noise's at 4am and then people running off. It was my first night back and wife had been driving the truck for almost two weeks and said on the Sunday she was follewed home from up town and it seem weird and when she told the cops the vechile they said it was knowen to them, told her to show me next time she see's it to let me know.
