My 93 Disco has a tow bar with a removable hook and want to know if its accepted to buy/ make an attatchment to slip into the same square tube with the rated cast hook on it? I got a couple of hooks from Supa cheap and want to pop them on before my first club trip next week end.
Being a Landy i mostly only need the hook at the rear to pull other out........................................BUT need to mount one on the front for looks too. Haha

Re: Rear Recovery point
I'm sure what you're planning will work fine, I went down a slightly different route & bolted my hook to the chassis.

Will see how long that statement lasts hahaha.
Mount it through the chassis like above, less time pissing around.
Cheers Daniel
Re: Rear Recovery point
Just remember that if you do, put crush tubes into the chassis rail before tightening the bolts.
