Just had a tonneau for our LN106 made by a young guy at Leeston - came highly recommended by a very fussy mate of mine
I had Marcus custom make the cover to fit - I didnt have to speak in the end, he told me everything I wanted in a cover! Looks amazing (like a hard lid from a few feet back?!) & its super tough - waterproof - last nights storm saw to that
Way cheaper than town prices, nice secure workshop for your steed - mine was an overnighter - easy peasy
If you need anything like this making for your 4bie - if we keep the 80 series Im going to get him to knock up an awning for that too - he already had a plan in mind for a rope & pole free style!?
VERY clever guy - ring him! Marcus 0273871993 Clausens Canvas
He will be recanvassing our Topagee camper come winter too - another of his specialties

Didnt ask to be honest, he cant do it for a month or so anyway (fully booked for big stuff) cant imagine it will be too dear - he laughed when I told him a mate paid $350 for an awning for his hiace if that gives you an idea?
Our Topagee isnt bad either just faded on the sides which shits me looking at it lol
I know you can buy kits out of OZ for them but the canvas is lighter than NZ needs
Cheers

Cool
Will go see him.
Hey a bit off topic but our topagee I think is missing some awning poles.
I'm not 100% how they are meant to work either.
It has three spring loaded poles that I think go from the camper to some other poles (these are the missing ones) and it also has two spring loaded ones that say spacer on them?
Is there meant to be three poles at the front of the awning that hold it up.
How do the others attach to these poles (is there holes in them??)
Thanks. Richard.

Ah yes, I remember our first outing with a topagee - lord that awning setup had me buggered - for 12 hours that night I slept & thought about it! Got up & it was straight forward enough lol
They are tricky - I wouldnt mind having a look if you want - kinda got ours down pat now
There are 8 poles in total, 3 at the front, three from camper to front of awning & two springy ones that go between the front 3 - bit confusing but once its all up, you dont need guy ropes which is a nice bonus - and they are rigid as buggery in a strong wind with the springy poles
