right this is just to clear up how these brackets work
To use these brackets on a leaf sprung hilux, you need to remove 1 of the 4 mount holes or get the inside openened up a bit but i wouldnt because that would leave fcku all meat left, or it might work if you remove or drop out the "U" bolt plate and shave the housing a tad..
These brackets were designed for a 130 coiled housing, and as i own a surf and a hilux i was able to compare both, and the housing on a 130 tappers down between the coil mount and the axle flange (this is where the brackets are to slot over the housing) where on a hilux its just straight, so a bit to much girth for these brackets as standard......
