Can some one tell me which way the vicus fan loosens before I skin all my fingers. I forgot to loosen it before taking all the belts out etc and now am slightly disadvantaged in holding the pullies......BUT if i know which was the right way to start with it may save a few more fingers............

it should undo the same direction as fan rotation , so looking at front of motor with spanner to top of motor it has to go to the right..... i think

I'm not sure if it is left or right hand thread but you should be able to tell from the direction the fan blades are orientated. The fan will turn to pull air in across the radiator and the centrifugal force will tighten the fan on its threads. So which ever way the fan is turning it will turn the same way to come off..

If any of that makes sense......
