six mounths ago I fitted a set of Standard height / Heavy Duty Chamberlin Coils to my Prado ,( Towing a Caravan ) With a set of Raw Shocks on the front, Happy with the ride on the Hiway, but very hash off road.
Can I buy ajustable shocks for the front or is there a softer shock that would soften the ride?

Raw shockes are pretty harsh riding, you can get rancho adjustable shockes.

I'm pretty sure that is what Bill (WjW) had in the front of his 78. He was running 4" lift Chamberlains though.

I did install them, lasted about 8,000km's and started leaking, second set about 5,000km's. The issue is, rancho don't make the right pin/eye combo so you have to get them cut and welded. Autolign, the wholesaler did it both times so it didn't affect the warranty. I'm sure this is what shortened their life, but could never prove it so had to pay for new shocks each time :-(

Also are you sure its not the springs? Nathan from 4wd acc had some custom springs made due to this very problem.

Looking at Raw 3 way ajustable shocks for the Prado, has anyone tryed these.?
My question is , would the soft setting be softer than the none ajustable shocks
