Offroad-Express

I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on power steering pumps - I was in the bush in my jeep (motor) and it made a quietish funny noise I lifted the bonet everthing looked good. but then I slowly started loosing my power steering. The resivoir is full and no leakages.

Any ideas? Cheers

Now if you still had a Terrano, I got a box full of P/S pumps and a couple of steering boxes too
Since it is a JEEP, I'm only guessing the the pump has crapped out. At least there is lots of wrecks around (most still on the road)
