I maybe lining myself up for a bit of hassle here, but what do you guys think of the reliability of these as city cars? The missus has been wanting one for ages. What tends to go wrong engine/trans/driveline wise if anything and what sort of k's do they do before needing attention.
Another thing I'd like advice on is these mechanical warranties. I nearly went for one when I bought the surf from turners but I'm quite glad I didn't now. Do you reckon the cost of these plus the associated compulsory servicing charges tends to take the shine off? Plus with all the fine print you never really know come claim time if they're gonna spin the standard "...well that's just wear and tear buddy, we don't cover that". line on you.
