Any one have any ideas? Is it a common problem or easy potentially to fix?

Im keen to get it as body is ruff perfect for hacking but the motor is mint and been rebuilt.

My 4wd system stop working on me in my ln130 the other day. The light wouldnt come up on the dash and if i was slowly rolling and engaged 4wd it would just beep at me. Turned out to be a loose plug on the transfer case.

Might be worth checking?

mine did this, turned out to be a sheared inner axle on the front diff.

Have you jacked up the front And checked 4wd is actually engaging ?

If it is , you have an electrical issue , if not I would look at the vacuum lines / system first.

No 4wd light on the dash and beeping means one of the 4wd indicator switchs is not engaged and/or working
Or that the front diff is over heatIng

Front diff the indIcaror switch is on the back of the diff, this circuit must be closed for the 4wd light to come on .

On the front of the diff is a temp sensor switch , if this circuit is closed / shorted no 4wd light and beeping.

On the the transfer case , one plug for the solenoid , the other is the 4wd switch, this circuit must be closed for the 4wd light to come on .

Apart from that , it could be the 4wd computer or wiring harness.
