After some advice on my suspension upgrade for my 1995 Toyota Surf - LN130 model.
My understanding is that I have shock and torsion bars at the front, shocks and springs at the rear.
I am after a 2" lift with a view to better touring/on road handling and better basic offroad handling. The vehicle is predominantly used onroad and has the original spec suspension, albeit replaced relatively recently. It wont be doing the Thompson Track but might be doing the Akatarawas as far as the turnaround point.
Here are my choices, both include replacement shocks, springs, torsion bars and a steering dampener:
EFS - Price of parts = $1870.00
ARB/Old Man Emu = $2150.00
Installation is the same cost regardless of the above so not a factor here.
What I want to know is which of the two you guys consider better, but I have some criteria:
1. I dont mind opinions on either of the above if you have actually used them.
2. If you suggest that one is better then the other, let me know why? Would prefer it if you have used both if this is the case, rather then "ARB is better because I have it in my truck and its just better"
3. Very interested to hear from other Surf owners who have either of the above.
If anyone knows of an equivalent but cheaper option to the above, happy to hear about it, especially you dealers out there

Many thanks guys.
Cheers
