Does anyone know of a common car that has an oval headlight... I'm not going to have alot of space after I"ve cut my gards and want to find something narrow to fit
Got to be off a car or truck as I need the dot numbers to make it legal
Cheers Reece

Hi Reece, how about the small round ones out of the early Nissan Cefiro
, they could be a bit expensive if you kept breaking them
. But will you really need lights
,I mean will this one get finished
will you keep it long enough
. Your history to date hasn't been to FLASH
.

No need for DOT numbers for lighting any more.
So long as the light patterns and illumination qualities are OK you can use whatever you want.

Re: Looking for options for headlights??
I have a pair of excellent condition 5" round headlights out of a GSXR. They used to be inside a plastic fairing with a curved plastic lense in front so the actual glass lenses and assemblies are as new.
They take normal automotive h4 bulbs and I have the plastic mounting pieces from the bike that you'd be able to hack up to work.
Was the only round headlight under 7" suitable for headlight use that I could find.
$60 + postage and they are yours.

Not according to LVVTA they have a list of standards that are acceptable, and it must come with either documentation from teh manufacturer or the relivent code marked on the lens
Thanks for the ideas guys, (might be in touch flyingbrick) still playing with options trying to reduce my scrub steer so I can reduce the cut size on my gards, I really want to try and keep this looking like a suzuki
Cheers Reece
