Yep, the alternator was dead along with the batteries... also tried to jump start it but there was something wrong there as well...
My truck got hot dragging him out of there as well, was like a oven in there!

To bad landycnut wasn't there in his series pos he would of towed all you guys out with out spinning a wheel.Give him a call next time.

Yeah she coped alright though, when you have a stuck nissan and another nissan can't cope, the good old Luxy Lux comes to the rescue.
This may have opened a can of worms....

Bloody hard work doing a Recovery on a dead vehicle thats for sure.
The rope from the Hilux to the first Nissan seam to be slack a lot of the time
may need to replace that rope get one thats less slack

alux was still winding up the hilux by the time reece caught up to him
