Hi there

Post by monterey »

I've been poking around here for ages, but haven't been polite enough to introduce myself.
I've got a BJ70 with a 14B in it and I'm thinking about sticking a turbo on it, but I'm having problems finding info on the job. Can anybody tell me if the 13BT manifold will fit the 14B block? Hopefully this will be easier than modifying the existing one or getting one made [and cheaper!].
The plan is to fit a CT26, so sticking with a factory manifold has got to be the easiest way to go.....I think!

Thanks, Ken.

Hi Ken, welcome aboard, you will get alot of good info from the guys on here and some not so good :D
I have a 14bt and yes the 13bt turbo setup will fit your 14b.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

Thanks for the info. That was a tad quicker than I expected, I've been stuffing around on the internet for ages and couldn't find anything definite. Is your turbo setup factory,or an addon? Where does your oil feed come from? Water should be easy enough, but I'm not so sure of oil supply.
