I done the manual conversion in my 130 surf last year and havent yet got round to getting the 4wd working..
The transfer stick has H and L4 only on it, with the push botton on the side with 2 wires coming from this button..
How does this system work?
Im picking I need to hook this wire up to a live feed which engages the 4x4..
I have a different loom as this truck used to be auto..
any help or hints? or am I going to have to trial and error with my loom? will hooking up these 2 wires also activate the 4wd dash light?????

cheers for that, read plenty but cant find anything to give me a run down on power supply from the push button to the actuator to the ADD to the trans case.
Ive got my existing loom, uncut from when I had the auto, and I have the cut loom on the new manual box and the wires at the push button, just need power supply from the push button to the add system

Theirs normally a 4wd / add computer located behind the panel in front ofthe gear stick under the radio..
Button tells computer , computer Sends 12 v to the solinod on the back of the transfer.
Computer also comtrols the front diff vacuum system and dash 4wd light ,
I have full wiring diagrams if you need them ,
