It looks like this vehicle is highly sort after by thieves. I have a work mate who has what looks like an almost identical car (but black) stolen a couple of weeks ago. He has done some serious investigating into the underbelly of the Chch stolen car community and put a few things together. Hopefully hes getting close to going "door knocking".
How long had your mate owned this for? Where did he buy it from?

don't know much just thought ya never know someone on here could've noticed this car appeared in their neighbours backyard/driveway yesterday.
that and I hate thieves so want to see them caught.

mate had his 89 completely stuck GTR stolen from panel n paint shop in CHCH end of last year....keys were left in it....hmmm makes you think.replaced it with a 700hp monster dubbed RAWGTR which now never leaves his site

FROM a commercial premises??? sounds dodgy...maybe thats the 'underworld scene operating'.

Mate had a 57 belair 2 door coupe with high performance 350 chev STOLEN from a well known engine tuner (at the time) over a decade ago in ChCh. Now that would be a LONGSHOT but maybe some habits are hard to break.

i had a mate with a gtho a few years ago that had all its id badges stolen from a panel beater in chch silly thing is they are useless since reported stolen
