ct26 off a car ie mr2 etc tend to have ceramic impellers and 4wd ie 13bt/1hdt diesels tend to be steel impellers.I am assuming the manufacturers do this for a reason .hope this helps :)

howsit. That was my manifold you got :D
You want a ct26 off the older gt4 celica or supra. My one was off a 7mgte(?). Needs to be the single wastegate one. It should have the numbers 74010 on the exhaust inlet flange(where it bolts onto the manifold). Should also only have four bolts for the dump pipe flange. I have that flange that i dont need if your interested Also have the steel gasket for the inlet flange. If i can find it i'll send it up. Any other questions about the setup ask away :D .

yeah. Although they are all called a ct26 there are many variations. You do not want one from an mr2 or celica as these are twin entry and have very restrictive exhaust housings.

As has been said, you want one from a 7mgte powered Supra- although these can be hard to find.

IF you wanted to spend up large on a new turbo- the CT20B from toyota is an amazing turbo-and is a direct bolt in replacement for the ct26 HOWEVER you will need to buy a NEW steel shaft turbo as the commonly available ones (from gen3+ mr2's) are ceramic and can have issues.

Whatever ct26 you get it'd be wise to have it rebuilt as they are all getting on in age and kms now.

Alternative is to have an adaptor plate made up and then use a more commonly available turbo like a mitsi TD05 (you'd want a 16g BIG WHEEL)

Twin entry, twin waste-gated CT26 turbos with 6 bolt exhuast housings are fine. The single waste-gated ones are prone to cracking through the exhaust housings.

Whatever you use, replace the ceramic exh wheel with steel wheel and shaft.

i had a single w/gate one. was cracked and didn't notice any loss of response or performance. Would boost up to 1bar smoothly and quite fast. :D .and would stay there till about 4100rpm then drop off a bit.
But like the others make sure its a steel wheel one.

Yeh. Think i threw gasket out by mistake but will send flange your way. It for a 4 bolt housing. Mite need your adress again tho.
Changing wheels on twin entry ct26s isn't a cheap exersize.

They work well at 15psi. Any more and it just blowin hot air with no real power gain

. Enjoy the power :D

the two exhaust pipes from the back of the turbo go into a collector then into a 3inch dump pipe wiv a 3inch exhaust straight through with no mufflers, manifold is 6 into 4 then 4 pipes go into the turbo flange ,all done in the garage the place to be
