I don't blame you for getting confused with tire selection.
The better the tire for off-road, the worse they go on-road.
Crash bandicoot has a point (cryptic as it may be)
Ask around a few shops for the on/off road ratios and make your choice based on the results, and look at what you are going to use them for and the terrain.
The more aggressive the tread the better for the mud, but the trade off is traction on wet tarmac or digging holes in sand.
Anything more than AT's will make some noise on road.
When price is thrown into the equation, it becomes even more of a minefield
Maxxis are all good as a middle of the road choice.
