two of use just spent the morning doing the Maratoto / Wires loop/
Wires track to the river is in good condition but is starting to chop up in the wet areas. those using it if poss drop your wheel speed as it is hard underneith.
the loop itself is still as shitty as normal
not to be taken lighty as those with out full bar set ups will come out panelless 
needed to winch several times
thought this option was easier than bashing the truck to try and straddle those big bolders 
took the camara but to busy driving etc to take any photos
departed the fword at 8.30 full loop and back at Tairua River at 11.30 for lunch. met up with a few fellow 4bees having a day out in low range
.Back at fword and heading home by 1pm.it was a great day
