Hi All,

I've enabled all avatars and signatures for members who have a post count over 2450. offtopic doesnt add to this figure so those that have that 2450 or greater post count have contributed to the forum with either advice, good information, tech tips or just plain useless dribble in on-topic threads. Either way these people have been the life of the site through good and bad times. For those that have paid the supporters fee to have their avatars and signatures enabled and are over the 2450 threshold you still get this feature plus access to galleries, videos and other unused bits of the site I have planned a rebuild of ore in this year and will be figuring out what people want and don't want. Better galleries, better videos are a start I know that for a fact. Vendors section is high on the priority for the sites vendors.

2450 posts, holy crap. I tend to only post when I have something to offer and at my present rate its going to be a couple of decades to get to 2450.
So can i pay a subscription fee and get full features and access that way.????

moderators will stop that and hopefully people telling people to stop posting unhelpful useless shit posts. If your planning on filling the forum up with 2000+ crap posts to get your avatar back youll probably find you wont have an account left for your avatar anyway

and correct me if im wrong (it happened once) that off-topic doesnt count towards final posts?? if not, then it should be!! off - topic wont count towards final post count, thus deterring post-whoring to get counts up

however looking at our site admins profile his most active feild is off-topic

offtopic doesnt count towards post count. yes but i still have 2700 odd in on topic threads

do we still get the notification to pay the supporters fee if were over 2450 posts, even with a free avatar and signature I'd still want to continue contributing to the running costs of the site?

yup thats all still active. all i did was add some logic into the forum to say if post count is greater than 2450 then enable avatar and signature no matter what their status is. Will be soon adding a status to show what type of user everyone is, ie regular, supporter, vendor, bum etc

Its a shame its a hard one to pick and choose coz theres a lot of regular good tech posters and contributors with post counts far less than 2540 such as Jafa, Rok, Darinz etc etc that probably deserve the free avatar status more than a lot of us with the higher post counts that talk too much shit

I can't find stats on this forum but my Hilux thread must be close to the most viewed with nearly 59000 and only 1428 posts

People on the forum think I'm a bloody drip who knows nothing about modifying a truck and 4 wheel driving so I have given up posting.

Damn shame, I know of 1 buggy build and another Landrover build underway that wont get shared due to post whore pieces of shit........... curious to see if that gets passed the ore "family filter"
