got the bosses 60,000 dollar truck stuck

heading north to the hunting camp to cut some fire wood, got to the track leading into the camp, had 3 inches of snow, hard gravel under the snow, no big deal, drove in 20 kms from the high way before getting to the 1st hill i had trouble with, put some branches down and made a high way to the top,got up there when my buddies found me on their atvs, so i turned the truck around, thinking ill head out to the high way park it up and ride in with them, but the weather was ment to be cold making the snow harder and easier to drive on, long story short woke up to 2ft of fresh power. even the atvs didnt like going through it.
got the truck past the first hill then slid of the track.
spent all that day digging, had no winches of nothing.
this all been on a sunday, the trucks ment to be back at work on monday in Toronto a 4 hour drive away.
came back the next morning, no cell phone reception, couldnt call the boss and say i had his 60,000 dollar dodge ram 2500 stuck. next day went up there with a 8500lb winch, two hand winches straps and chains, couldnt budge the truck.
we only had jumper leads to hook the winch up, so i guess the winch couldnt get enough amps to it, beacuse even with a double line pull the truck wouldnt budge.
left the truck over night again.
this time drove to where we had reception, got the work tilt n load, loaded up a johndeere 125hp 4x4 tractor which pulled me out easy as.
glad to get the truck out in one peice.

this is where it sucks not having any buddies into wheelin with trucks. you guys would have been keen for a rescue mission
i asked four guys with skidders and chains to rescue me, they all said no way would they got that far. not even for a 1000 bucks cash.
tractor was cheap,, got a good deal from a hill bille, 300 bucks cash, too cheap.ill pick him up a bottle of whiskey on the weekend.
