I see you have the 3rd row belts in, do you have to take out the drawers and put the seats in for WOF or is it cert'd 5 seater? I'm thinking about doing some drawers for mine but can't be arsed having to put rear seats back in for WOF (got pinged on not having them in and being cert'd 8 seater not long ago).

oh and do you have pics of your fridge/draw set up now? :p

I got told you can have belts with no seats, but can't have seats without belts. Should be allowed to take your back seats out whenever you want.

i think that you dont have to have seats but if you get a WOF without them then its stated so on the system and then you have an accident with them in then its not good for you, insurance etc. What i have heard at any rate

factory 7 seater, belts are there only so seats can go back in, not sure on rules but had for 3 years now and never been questioned.

I had the same conversation with certifier and WOF guy here. For WOF you should remove seat belts if seats are missing. Also if you go for Cert make sure you have the seats in or it will get re-certified as a 5 seater. I sent my Prado for Cert without the third row and because of that it was officially recertified as a 5 seater.

However, cert man said if the third row is a factory option and bolt in, you can put seats and belts back in and have 7 seats even if its been certified (was originally) a 5 seater.

Hope that makes sense.

Cheers,

Bill
