Cheers for all the pics of me up to me diffs in poo guys.
Thanks to Rangielux for the patience, wopass for letting us tag along in the first instance, DB and others for the good company and great humour.
Had a great day, next time you see me Ill be a few inches higher and might have even gotten rid of the road tyres (if the ministry of war and finance lets me!!) and relaced them with some 31 muddies. No doubt you will still need a tow rope handy!!!!!
what does the camp site look like in the winter , That photo of your truck on the stump is the camp site i think , looks like a lot of water been through there . Nice work on your truck , good results , is the locker only in the rear or is it at both ends , Cheers TeLexs (soon to be blown TeLexs).

Much the same - but colder Dry enough to still camp in tho.
Plenty of water in there at the moment but suprising how much it dries out during the day. And if your silly enough to take on the hill climbs you'll make it to the top :pale: ....sometimes
This is hardly the site to be bragging about your sexual exploits
Cool photos tho guys, nice to see you do have the odd place to play up there... I'm still planning my roadtrip to Auckland later this year, so maybe this spot and Thompsons Track would be good to line up for it...

Thanks Rangielux for the trip had a heaps of fun being turned into a milk shake in my little golf ball. And thanks all for being patient with towing us when we got stuck even tho i think you guys might have enjoyed towing us a little more than ya let on.
Oh i fixed the over heating prob cleaned out about half a bucket of mud from the rad lol i need tires for the next trip that way i might be able to help with the towing.
Yeah we'll do it again when the days get a bit longer maybe ?
And that is a good pic, it's hard with a digital camera to get the timing right now is'nt it ?. Must read the instructions one day there might be more buttons I can push
Did I have fun!! being a retired old fart has its drawbacks, took some pics and movies (can be seen on page 13) Thanks for the trip, Son/nephew was a good man for all his towing, what a Missile the missile is. Like Roloverover, tyres are next, can tweak the fron suspenders up a little too on the torsion bars.
Great movie footage there Bob, my pre-school daughter just loves it
PS Old farts would be at home polishing and fitting beaded seat covers to their near new 4wd on a Suturday afternoon rather than let Wopass drag it around the bush covering it head to toe in crap

Cool vids. Will have to wait till I get home to hear rangielux (no sound card on work puter )
Wopass, you might want to weld a grab handle onto you rollcage so other passengers dont use the main part of cage as a grab handle. Has seen one forearm crushed in a roll over at a comp I was at years ago, and seen numerous closecalls where passengers (and drivers) have pulled the hand back in at the last second.
Sorry for the thread hijack Might have to do a mission from Auckland next time you run one down there. Looked like fun

was thinking the same thing after seeing that, not sure where i can put it tho as the cage is close enough to the head as it is, if i put a grab rail up there it will be even worse maybe up front on the angle from top rail to front upright ?..there is a grab rail on the dash as well, just seems that no one likes to use it and i need some of that wrap around hollow foam to...where the hell do i buy that stuff from ?

Wopass, "someone" who didnt want to drive last weekend, just dragged me down to Rotovegas and bought home a Safari. All the shizzle mate, PTO winch, 70mm lift, brand new tyres. the rust was for free (hehe, nothing that checkerplate cant cure!!!!)
