hey everyone im keen on learning some more on putting a lsd diff out of a s13 silvia into the front of my terrano how is this done much hassle? need lots of info lol

p.s im a diff rookie

Have heard that Nissan R200 diff heads as used in some Nissan performance cars can be made to fit in a Nissan C200 diff casing as found in the front of some Nissan 4wds. I fitted a LSD from a pathfinder to the front diff of my Safari and it was simply a matter of removing the diff head and bolting my existing crown wheel to the LSD centre then re-installing. I am not a mechanic and I managed to do this without to much trouble.

so like a lsd out of a s13 or a 300zx? some skylines?

That's cause the Saf front diff is the same as the terrano rear diff.
Terrano front diffs are a different story and are not the same as their rears.

I understand it can be done, but it requires a lot of modifying to do so.
There are others on here who are doing R&D on this topic as we speak.

thats good to hear i guess ill wait for a lil bit for the details to pop up unless they wana keep it to themselfs lol
