For winch Challenges run under 4x4 Challenges rules it the cage has to meet any of the following
4x4 trials
ORANZ
MANZ

Trials is prob the easyist to meet, but with an exo you may have trouble getting the required bracing in., can be done though

First things first. 38mm ID x 42mm OD equals 2mm wall and this is way to light. I'd also suggest MSNZ tube is too light for an exo but it is within the rules. You need to use medium wall pipe which is 3.2mm or MSNZ tube which is medium tensile 2.6mm wall.

ORANZ is probably the one that caters for full chassis trucks the best.
The hardest thing with your truck will be getting enough strength into the main hoop and the 'A' pillar bars.
The main hoop should be chassis mounted and have a double brace. The rules only require a single but do you really want to skimp on you rollcage?
The 'A' pillar bars are tough to make strong with an exo. The best way is to built a big F.O. slider and then mount the cage to that. DON'T just bend the bar and weld/bolt it to the chassis and I've seen them bend really easy.
The key to a cage is every time you make a bend you need to brace the bend. IE all bars should be straight and they should form the edge of a triangle. Anywhere you can't do this you create a weakness that you will need to either add a brace to fix OR use really really heavy tube.
The safest way to build a cage is to build an internal cage and then just fit brush bars to protect the cab. Doing it all in one will make for one heavy truck or a cage that isn't really up to spec.

The thing to remember is sometimes tracks are set to allow you to go as fast as you want. (and you will go as fast as you can!) I've personally done over 140kph in a winch challenge and that was when my truck still had the TD42! Don't confuse low speed roll overs to a high speed impact.

I agree with Darin, my cage is an internal chromoly, 50mm main hoop, 38 for the rest, and MANZ rollcage tube for a exo sort of thing, and thats too light, Taz, youve seen the damage my exo has taken, and its not a fast truck by any stretch of the imagination. Your thing is going to be heavy, therefore your cage needs to be hell strong. As Darin said, build a beasty internal, and attach some cab protection bars.... not that a roll over at 140k will dent your scone..
