33s on a sj413?

I currenty have 31s but would easily fit 33s, anyone run 33s on there zuk with starded axels?

I have seen it work good not much stress on the axles if you play in mud not rock.
If you are going to do it look for some skinny 33s like 9.5s or 10.5s

What sort of transfer case gears do you have? I would imagine you would have to go up to 5.14 rockhopper gears to get your gearing back

I'd imagine you will become quite efficient in changing CV's and perhaps rear axles too. As a test of the twist paint a straight line along the axle and after a few months pull it and see if it spirals around the axle. If it does they are being loaded up and will probably fail at some stage.
I'd imagine a set of lux axles combined with high ratio diffs (low geared) and a set of rockhopper/lobster gears in the t case and skinny tyres (maybe alloy wheels - to keep the rotating mass/ weight down). Maybe the tcase could be swapped for a 410 tcase for a simple gear change.
Will be good though...

chromoly axles / cv's
diff gears
transfer gears
power steering
then chop where it rubs.
then
vented vitara front brakes
engine mounts
gearbox mount
transfer case mounts
and anti wrap bar.
= farken awesome ground clearance

haha Yea been there tried that with my 413 the bitch become lazy and kept laying its its side for a bloody nap
