Suspension Lift help

Hey Guys,

Had my Vitara's springs stretched a month or so back but unfortunately it hasn't been running since as I need some parts for it.

I'm trying to track down some Camber correcting bolts and something like a spacer for the rear diff and the arm that connects. Anyone know where I could get these from?

Also please mention any other suggestions on what I need (or don't need) after a 2 Inch Suspension Lift.

Thanks,
ZukOffRoader.

Hi mate, got my camber correcting bolts off trademe, but it doesn't look like there are any for sale at the moment. Call a few of your local suspension shops, they should be able to get them. They were Noltec brand 12mm(M12) from memory and cost around $60.

The spacer for the rear arm I just made myself out of some 1 inch aluminium. If you have done a 2 inch lift you will want a 2 inch spacer and some bolts (metric fine thread) that are 2 inches longer than the standard ones. There are some measurements online somewhere for the dimensions of the spacer, but it may just be easier to take your A-arm out and measure it up. It's basically a rectangular block with a a big hole in the middle and four holes in the corners for the bolts.

Good luck.

Let us know how those springs hold up man. Yeah noltec are the ones I've used. Guys who do wheel alignments can sometimes source them otherwise a suspension outfit. Hunt around pricewise as I was told a spectrum of prices from different places.

Hi, mate

I just made one out of nylon for my escudo today. the block is 60*110mm and hole distance is 40*90. use 10.2 drill to give clearance around the screw. Will put it on during this weekend.

Also needed a biggish hole in the middle for the ball joint to sit in from memory.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Does anyone know where I can source nylon from in the Bay of Plenty? Or elsewhere?

I saw those bolts on Trade Me too, pity I didn't need them at the time. I'd prefer to buy locally, saves the hassle and time taken to import things.
