I found it happens occasionally. I just turn a blind eye, and put up with it (already nagged Mike about enough other stuff    )

Getting real upset here.
Type a long winded answer, press submit and some random page comes up and all my typing is gone :o
This has happened to me 4 times tonight.
In some case it's not such a bad thing cause it was a stupid thing to say, and the old guard would just jump on me
How many times does this happen to others?

if you hit back on your browser it should take you back to your already written post and you can hit submit again. Does that on chrome and firefox at least.

ok two weeks. server will be moved on to new server. hopefully it should fix the problem as its a caching issue and the new server uses a different caching system. of course it could make it worse

to help those that type long answers, and when tryin to post it lose their work, either hit back and it'll take ya back to ya original post with writing still there (depends what comp system ya running) or hit refresh and it'll take you back to the original page you were meant to see after the message gets posted...

works a treat for me..

I'm thinking i will have to install chrome. Was trying to resist as others use this computer and i don't like the history being shown.
Will do.

oh and in chrome you can go incognito by using ctr+shift+N. that way anything you do on there doesn't go to the history.

looks like it may still be there, which means its not server related (caching issues) but software glitch. will look into it more closely once ive got everything else working the way it was
