Hi All,
Anyone got any pricing for a replacement system for a 1HDT? have been quoted 1250 inc fitting by Magoo, but the full custom 3" on the prado was only $800.
The flex joint is leaking and needs replacing but the rest of the system is in a poor state too.

Give Hornby Exhaust Specialists a call, they quoted me $500 - 600 tops for a full 3" exhaust from the turbo (not dump pipe) back on my Surf.
I hate autobend with a passion, most unhelpful *$(%%( out there in my experiences with them.

On the Prado I got him to run it down the firewall behind the motor, then along the transmission tunnel above the gear box, it then went across to the passenger side chassis rail directly behind the transfer case. Then straight out the back. Thats was with the 2J though not sure you could do that with the 1HDT looking at the space available

You can fit 3" the whole way down the drivers side inside the chassis rail, does get tight in places but with flexis and decent mounts you can get away with it

I did mine but its a side exit one. But I have seen others fit down the inside of the chassis which is what I looked at doing but then ran out of effort

Anyone had a go at remaking the factory elbow to point straight down the chassis rail instead of out the side?
