Stolen from outside my house 3 weeks ago. Not interested in getting it back now, just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone sees it (I'm betting its been fragged already).

3L Diesel Manual SSR-G.

Had MINT Recarros (not a single fray - must have had seat covers in from day 1), 16" Landcruiser VX rims/ 285x75x16 BFG MT tyres - Only bought less than 2 months ago, Munro shocks, +2" springs on rear. Was booked in for a body lift same week it was stolen

I just hope the insurance company think its worth as much as I did...

What a shame, nice truck, seek legal advice before you settle with your insurance company.
From the photo's you have posted....you have the required evidence to recieve the correct paypout inclusive of accessories, i'm sure a manual surf with those extras would be well worth seeking (spending) for a ligitimate valuation from a reputeable LMVD.
I f you're in CHCH Talk to Rick at 4wdacc, he will point you in the right direction for a good valuation, If not seek a good 4x4 expert LMVD in your area for legal valuation.

Not much point telling us its been stolen when you dont tell us where you are !!!

Good point! Can't seem to find how to update my info... Anyways, I'm in Christchurch. It was stolen from my house in Ilam/Avonhead area. I dont see why posting this 3 weeks later matters much - I don't expect to see it again, but just incase someone sees those wheels/tyres for sale somewhere or the seats or whatever, it might ring a bell...

@hosehustler - I'm expecting a battle with my insurance company over it. I paid $8500 for the truck and another $1800 for the wheels/tyres. The truck was insured for $10,000 so hopefully they'll pay out and I wont be too out of pocket. I'll definitely get in touch with Rick if they start messing me about though.

Very true, But in the middle of no where it may be interesting....
And my 2nd alarm system in a high caliber rifle so i dont advise them to try!

Bummer about the truck dude, its getting hard to find mint surfs these days.

My insurance just offered me $7250... $1250 less than I paid for it only 3 months ago, and $2750 less than the value I had it insured for.

Pi$$ed off? Just a little...

I told them I wasn't accepting that, and that I'd get it valued myself. Took it into Ace4WD and one of the guys valued it for me at $10k. Said it would fetch that all day long, and on a good day, he might even get $11k for it. Lets see what the insurance co. say now...

as for me.. when i had my gtr and it got stolen, i got insurance on her at pre agreed value of $35k but they only paid me out $26k.. $9 k excess! fawkers..

You had an excess of $9k? Holy sh!t.

I'll be happy if they give me anything over what I paid for it. I'll take the hit on the wheels n tyres, but they are taking the pi$$ thinking I'll settle for less than I paid for it. I couldn't expect to replace it for that price anyways...

having a look at it all the trucks that have been pinched in chch as of late are all unique in one way or another, as in have been modded in some way.

is this a group or a guy who is targeting modded trucks?

Well I finally settled on $9500, after the insurance company got a 4th valuation done!

Glad it's all over now.

There is one other good thing to come from this - since my truck got stolen, I've been cycling to work, and getting much fitter!

Think I'll leave the money in the bank, and just keep on biking!

Watch it. They'll steal your bike next..
