I rang outback today and they reckon they had none, Hitech wanted 475+ for a good one and 295+ for a scummy one that may not get wof

Is this for a second hand headlight? If so what theiving bastards. You could buy a de registered complete ZJ for not much more than those asking prices.

bloke in matamata sold headlight tried him last night, just txt the corvette gut....yep bloody expensive headlight alright, could not believe 475+ what a joke...bummer corvette guy has nothing either..

Well thats a bugger. If the wof isn't due for a while keep an eye out for someone wrecking one on trademe etc as you'll be sure to land a better deal than those wreckers above.
Also note that buying ex US is a no goer as their beam patterns are for driving on the right side of the road.
Well I now know one thing I will be trying to protect next time I go off road lol.

Forgot to mention Hitech will do exchange, where you get 2 American type spec plastic ones for 295+ and you give them your old good headlight in exchange...of which if it has good chrome etc they will sell on for $475+ so some other punter, He did warn me the after market ones are only just wof standard leading me to believe they are shit quality in the beam pattern as they also dont use a H4 bulb...so the hunt still goes on
