Wtd: Hydraulic steering

Post by hitbiga »

Im after a hydraulic steering setup for a toyota hilux front axle. A similar setup to something like this trail gear one http://www.trail-gear.com/toyota-full-h ... eering-kit if anyone offers them in Nz? Just seeing if there are any other options out there without having to order from overseas.

I have sold them in the past, but I'm out of stock of most parts at the moment, but if you want me to price you the trail gear kit I can, PM me.

I have a steering Orbitrol in stock. A mate can make you the arms if you tell me the length of the drag link. I have a near new one of those Hydro rams, done 1-2 hours running (my spare one), that I can sell you for a discounted rate.

be cheaper to make the hoses and mounts locally are freight is the biggie. you can get away without the cooler if you use a suitable size tank. the filter assembly I think cost me $45-60 locally. I can probably find you a steering coloum..
Dont follow me. i'll get stuck and need a tow..

Old thread i know but i have the same question as the original poster.

About to bring in a Trail Gear 6" Double ended ram and clevis kit and then an orbital after xmas, but is there anyone in NZ who can do the same gear for the same price or cheaper?

SNR seem to only offer hydro assist kits.

Cheers

I can do you a deal on it if you want... I import a bit of TG stuff amongst other things. I run 2x 8" TG rams on my buggy. I can source you an orbital for it too.. PM me.
