Anyone who has an interest in DOC land in Southland - now is your time to have a say in how this land is managed for the next 10-15 years.
This includes us as 4WDer's and those that use the existing 4WD tracks under DoC/future DoC control.
Many of you will have been over the whitecoomb road and many other public tracks we have.
There are a series of open meetings to go along and express an interest.

This is the start of the process. By the sounds of it there will be no draft plan to propose for or against so it is important to have your say.
This applies to anything conservation in southland, be it 4wding, deer stalking, public track to launch jetboat etc.
If you are writing or reasoning remember, an idea or opinion will carry more weight with a reason, say why you like getting to the high country places rather than '4WDing'
