goes to show how much the wof guys actually know ah
same deal with suspention lifts etc but thats already an ongoing topic
back to topic yes they sould be designed to lift the person up over the vehicle not push them down and underneath
this has been told to by a cert chap as well as a wof inspector that i know
whether its being look at is of course another issue

Tested out the Mig welder ex Mudlva, it works mint. :D
Tested it out on some panel work for my Sis inlaw... Bit of panel rust cutting out for WOF.
And had a go at some off cuts..... NICE...
Then later having a lay down to fab up some brackets for the winch.

You definitly need either PTFE tape or something designed for pneumatic joint sealing.

I use http://www.loxeal.com/pipe_sealing.html for all joint sealing, easier than thread tape and very universal, available at any good engineers shop

I didn't know about that forward bar angle thing.. Has anybody been pulled up at WOF time with that issue?

I sorted out some of the Lada parts.

During the week I got the spare brake discs skimmed (they were rusty from sitting around), so they are ready to fit.

I also pulled out the Lada alternator so I can see what condition it is in, to try and avoid buying one as I have no spare :(
