Luke and Ash at their property.

Post by petefj40 »

This was Luke's first time behind the wheel. That steering ram takes some getting used to. I thought he did well.

I love the facial expressions.

I've got 2 other clips to post later. One of Ethan's effort and also Ash's partner behind the wheel. Hope no one minds me throwing them up here.

I think Ash and Rick are trying to sort out a small private event their this year Mike. (Turoa's already had his Landy there) Trouble is getting access, as the road to it is private.
The 3 clips I'm uploading are only of the first paddock closest to the homestead. Ash and I drove down into the other paddocks to the Ashley river from there. Now those tracks are mean as! We tried (or I did) getting up one steep track where others had broken CV's. But my driving wasn't good enough to get up it. It was damp and real slippery. SO much fun though!!!
No windows is better. Imagine the glass getting covered in mud. You wouldn't see much. No windows or mud guards RATE!!
Ash had that much fun in the buggy Sunday. He was saying, if he can't get cert for the zuk he'll turn it into a trail queen. 8)
I'm uploading a 1 minute 40 second clip of Ethan's run right now. Uploading speed is like dial up speed. But it'll be worth it.

Ahhhhh... It was you. I could hear a v8 having fun but couldn't see it on Sunday about 2.30pm. Sounded good too. Me and a mate were heading up the Ashley.
