rear diff lock

rear diff lock

the rear diff lock when engadged the light is flashing. is that normal or is the light not meant to flash. When disingaded light goes off. just wondering if it meant to be solid or it meant to flash

Goes solid when its in. Check if it is going in, DO you hear the pump (do it with engine off and key on) and you must have the centre diff locked, and be going very slow or stopped for it to go in.
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods ;)

Yea i hear the pump go and everything like that but the light stays flashing what you think this could be? and then when i push the button to go out i hear something click out

Is the diff actually locking? Jack up one wheel and check.

Its most likely the switch in the diff, but check to see if its locking. the teeth can get damaged inside, one chap had a tooth bend and the diff couldn't lock.

Does the pump stop? Should go for a few seconds then stop. If it keeps running, it's probably an air leak.

just by pass it and switch the pump and have it in when ya want it
