td27t into 2.4 petrol d21

Hi all, I have a '91 pathfinder, with the z24 petrol engine, 5sp manual, still goes ok but is thirsty. The rest of the wagon is great!
I'm keen to fit a TD27, got any advice? Things I'll need to consider?

buy the time you buy everything you need for the conversion you could of bought my terrano for $3500 and still have all that spare time
youll need to get it certified if you do.

I would just turbo it. I used to have a nissan bluebird with the ka24e it has all the oil feel holes ready and waiting I just bolted a t25 up on a custom manifold and it went really well. that was about 3 years ago and its still going around. I just put a high preasure fuel pump and exhaust no other mods.
