Gdday, have just bought myself an 88 Suzuki Escudo and am wanting to do a few basic mods to it. Have just bought some new rims fitted with 30x9.5r15 feet on them and am wanting to lift it now. How easy is it to do yourself and what other basic mods could I do to ensure we dont run into any problems.
Cheers
Hayden

Welcome to the forum. There are a few of things you can do, suspension lift, body lift, front strut top flip (gives you more down travel), Commodore ute rear shocks (more articulation), rear heim joint spacer (if you do a suspension lift), sway bar removal and dont forget add a snorkel if your going through water. The auto hubs can be a little troublesome to some so change these if you find them to be weak. An exhaust and extractors will help too.
Watch the front diffs and cv's, they're prone to braking if the front wheels see air. Use the throttle wisely or get a steel front diff (expensive).
Lockers will help you get further if you have the money.
