Offroad-Express

There are three sensors on the right side of the auto/transfer case in my buggy.
Anyone know what each do?

-The one on the left has a broken wire.
-The one in the middle is wired up.
-The one on the right isn't.

Ive got an electronic version of part of an A434 manual...pm me your email addy & ill email it to you

Dont know what the middle one is cause I cant see it in the pic, but the two that are visible are transfercase switches. One turns the 4wd light on in the dash and the other tells the computer its in low range so it changes shift patterns (not needed/ doesnt work with your 1uz computer)

please excuse my ignorance (don't do auto's) but is one of them a reverse sensor to turn on reverse lights etc?

This is a pic of the transfer. the reverse light switch is in the actual auto

got the pic's turned off (saves data on vodem) so just read the post and made and assumption

i just needed to know if any of the wiring was needed for my setup.

The sensor you can't make out on the far right has a white cover over the wires. You can see where it bolts into the transfer case.

Im fairly sure those two just sense low range. Not needed for your wagon

Ok..best i can tell from the part manual i have is

Speed Sensor
Temperature Sensor
Neutral start switch
Solenoid Wiring

Cant really see where each plug in.

Those are transfercase switches / sensors.
Nothing to do with the auto....

1= 4WD switch, activates when front shaft is engaged.
2= Low 4, activates when transfer-case selected to Low.
3= Transfer-case Neutral switch.
