New to this forum and as I am embarking on a new project I thought Id get some knowledge and ideas before I jump off the cliff.
What I have now is an Flatdeck LN106 Hilux with a 1UZ running a G4. E-locker in the rear and lockrite in the front.
What I want is coils. Leafs suck.
I was entertaing the idea of just coiling the front end but on investagation of cost of parts, engineering ability, cert, blah blah I had the bright Idea of just getting a full 70 series Chassis and dumping the whole lot on. That way I get to dip the chassis when I strip it bare and I also get a coiled arse end and rear discs. Anyone done similar? Pros Cons? Will it fit easy enough? Which way is easier you reackon?
I also need some new gumboots for her. Probably 33's but maybe 35's but I dont really want to jack her up too high to fit em. Want MT's as I drive reasonable distances to get it dirty and also do rivers so that rules out the likes of Centepedes and Silverstones. Am leaning towards Maxxis Bighorns? Have got a set of road Muddies (31's with decidedly less tread on the rear)

Also has anyone got any engine bay Pics of a twin snorkle set up for a 1UZ? Or custom airbox for said setup? Much appreciated.
Will whack up some pics once I get underway with the whole affair.
