9k is probably pushing the upper limits of a dealer that offers finance. 6-7k is a cash sell.
the surf owners on here are a bit biased as to what they think there vehicles are worth, and have selective memories.
watch a few private sales on trademe,
kzn130s 2-300000kms for 4-5k, kzn185s for 6-10k if exceptionally factory an mint, the very odd modified one for more. then see where yours sits in.
they are worth what the market will pay, which sadly is not what some ore surf owners think that there purchase price + mods added on top are worth, i think its a bit misleading having someone tell you yours is worth 9k. if it was exceptionally factory mint vehicle with mods then possibly at a dealers but look at the market....
Re: Realistic price for 1994 surf
its not mint but does scrub up well has the factory rear windows tinted rear doors back, the roof has clear coat issues
has a broken rear flare and a ripple on rear gaurd from a stick im wondering wether it would be worth sorting with trying to chase a bit of xtra coin? mite give it a good bung out and take some photos its hard to keep clean living in the country

Bought a VZN130 1994 today for $2700, 220K Auto, Factory..
Theyre deff going down in value, I'd say you'd be looking around the 5K mark?

Yip the V6 ones have never been worth bugger all anyway, they crack heads just as much as the 1kz surfs though
