FJ40 re-registration

Looking at putting a fairly stock FJ40 back on the road, has any one done this recently and if so what were the appoximate costs and any pitfalls that I should be aware of.

i'd be interested in this too as am building a 40 up at the mo, so will keep an eager eye on replys...

They don't make it easy by the sound of it...if it doesn't have rust and is in good nick should be ok. but if its a little dodgy look out!

bj41... i just remembered a conversation i had with supralux... he put me onto a certifier... a mate of mine just got his truck certed by this chap last week... he said this cert dude was really good.. clued up and all.. not unreasonable like some idiots!

pm me if keen to contact the guy for a chat... could get an idea from him.. :D
