Im guessing no cert for turbo? You wouldnt be interested in a 92 bluebird with 98 primera SR20DE in it? its manual, 4wd, silver. nice car, with cash your way?

Its under a 20% increase in power on the standard engine, so it doesn't require a Cert.

I am surprised this hasn't been snapped up.
If you cleaned it up aesthetically a little you may still get a good price for it.

I'm still putting new motor in, but its only done 108,000kms. I'll get some photos for you sometime this week. Just gotta hook up wiring, and put crossmember and bottom mount on.

Actually if a turbo or supercharger has been fitted it requires a cert regardless of whether it makes 20% more/less power.

Note 2 LVV certification is always required for the fitting of a supercharger or turbocharger as a modification, or the upgrading of a supercharger, turbo or wastegate, or the re-chipping of electronic engine control units on turbo cars.

The last bit of the regs gets me.
How is a AVIC going to know if an ECU has been chipped?

all i know is that i've never been asked about it so left it at that.

If people have prob bout it not been cert'd then will take turb off and sell it as a n/a powered slug. Still cheap truck

Nice bush truck also suprised noone has snapped it up too. Mines the same way now, SWB isnt practical for putting car seats in the back and can't afford to upgrade to a LWB n swap all the mods over so its sitting there waiting for a new alternator so i can take it out again. Roll on when the newest one is big enough to come out too
