What sort of tank? The plastic type or Tin?
Should be easy to do, even make it disconnectable to fill it in town first
Fixed outboards for over 20years.

If there is a fuel return from the engine/carb then you have to fit a hose tail to the tank.
Other wise consider using the outboard couplers and primer bulb.
Prime up just like an outboard
Ask away.

yup it does have a fuel return, does that work on gravity? its just that the tanks new position is higher than standard ( on the ute tray behind the cab )

You can do, but when full and on a reasonable angle they have a tendency to leak.
Might be worth not filling it up too full

If you plumb a return nipple in, use the flange and flange nut type fitting and drill near filler so you can poke it through from the inside

Trademe is your friend.

Otherwise, Burnsco Marine, or any boat dealer should have them.
