What size are you after? Me and a mate are looking at bringing a couple of sets of swampers over from the states to help fill a container so may be able to fit them in.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

Are tyres cheap from the states?

I agree only thing there ok on are rocks and river beds. Don't bag and average in mud.

Nope, they are no good on rocks. You need lots of sidewall flex to make a good tyre for that.
I like my swampers becuase they are a softer compound than simexs. When coming out of rivers and straight into rock work, the sampers way out performed the simex, however the simex was better in the mud.
No one tyre can do it all.

Re: tsl swampers 15.5 info
I ran 33" swampers on the 60 for about 6 months. (Fair bit of road use
) Absolute PIGS
Couldnt balance them properly, wondered all over the road and dont start me on the wear!! (spose you get that with 2.6ton sitting on top of them
)
Awesome in the mud tho, not bad in river beds.
Also I have to say that I would buy another set of Crawlers. Had 2 sets on them on hiluxs and they did everything I wanted them to do

I have some 33x12.5 swampers that I use on my Nissan Safari - absolute pigs on the road, don't climb as well as I had hoped on greasy clay -but awesome aired down in swampy boggy conditions they float over mud that would see my truck sink like a rock on my other tires, they clear out good to.
