Hi my mates V6 Terrano wont start seems to fire then floods. We have checked the ecu fault codes and get both red and green lights flashing at the same time 1 flash then 2 flashes then 3 flashes then 4 flashes then 5 both at the same time. There is nothing in his manual that relates to this.Any thoughts would be great, thanks mike.

thats indicating the 5 diagnosis modes. u need to turn the screw thing back after the 3rd (I think????) flash, then it will start to flash the fault codes out

How long since new spark plugs have been fitted? If not recently, then try some new ones. I have personaly fixed a car that was driving along, died, and wouldnt restart. A new set of plugs and was away again! Worth a shot. Otherwise, maybe try a clamp on fuel line to trick it and lean it to get rid of flooding. It may fire up, then keep running if you release clamp at right time
