hilux knuckle rebuild help

Post by monaro427 »

as title says, i have just brought a front axle and replacing the bearings etc, what i want to know is with the shims how many go on top and how many on the bottom, i have a rebuild kit which has 8 shims in it of 4 pairs, i know i have to put in then using a fish scale to measure pre-load or what ever it is, so can some one be able to point me in the right direction cheers, and just to let you know there where no shims with it when brought, cheers craig
